We have been together for more than 14 years. From the earliest days, we dreamed of having children. We met when we were students in college. We remained together as we pursued our educations and careers. Chris worked in Kazakhstan, Hungary and Wales; Shih Han went to medical school in Ireland. Five years ago we settled back in the United States. These years have been the happiest of our lives. We have a bright future together and are ready to start a family.
