We live in a great house to be a kid. Chris knows. He grew up here. It is a typical suburban house—not too big, not too small.
The house sits on an extra large lot. Chris’ parents, who bought the house in 1961, planted the trees and shrubs which have now grown large. In high school Chris and his sister planted two small bamboo plants. Those plants have grown and spread to form a moving wall. Kids love to explore the mysterious area behind. The bamboo can be cut down to build things. We still have the remnants of a tower built by two of Chris’s nephews.
